Fatehgarh is a city in Uttar Pradesh state of northern India. It is the administrative headquarters of Farrukhabad District. Fatehgarh derives its name from an old fort. It is a small city with no significant industial activity. The city is located on the right bank of Ganga River. Fatehgarh is a unique city in itself due to these facts.
 
Uttar Pradesh, also popularly known by its abbreviation U.P, is the most populous and fifth largest state in the Union of India. Uttar Pradesh covers a large part of the highly fertile and densely populated upper Gangetic plain. The points of interest include Ganga River, temple called famous Tiwari Vaishno Mandir.
