Kolkata
India officially the Republic of India, is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by geographical area, the second most populous country, and the most populous liberal democracy in the world. Kolkata is the capital of the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located in eastern India on the east bank of the River Hooghly. Kolkata Municipal Corporation area has registered a growth rate of 4.1 percent, which is the lowest among the million-plus cities in India.
