Narsimhapur

India officially the Republic of India, is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by geographical area, the second most populous country, and the most populous liberal democracy in the world. India is a union of twenty-eight states and seven federally-governed union territories. New Delhi is the capital of India.

Narsimhapur is a town in Madhya Pradesh state of central India. Narsimhapur is the administrative headquarters of Narsinghpur District. Narsimhapur has a large temple of Lord Narsingh. This temple was constructed by Jat Sardar in the 18th century. Khirwar clan Jats came to this place from Brij and founded the city of Narsinghpur, where they ruled for a long period. Khirwars of Narsinghpur were followers of god Narsingh. Here they constructed two temples of Narsingh avatar.

Like some of its sister municipalities and towns, Narsimhapur is blessed with beautiful surroundings and a unique natural setting. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of nature, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important tourist attractions in India.
