Puteri Pacific Hotel Johor Bahru Joins Luxe Worldwide Hotels

The Puteri Pacific Hotel Johor Bahru has joined hotel representation company Luxe Worldwide Hotels as an Elite Collection member with immediate effect.

The 500-room hotel is strategically located in the heart of the business district of Johor Bahru, the state capital of Johor, in southern Malaysia. It is also the nearest hotel to the border crossing with Singapore, located five minutes away via a land crossing. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital, is a three-hour drive away via expressway.

Cecilia Tee, Managing Director – Asia for Luxe Worldwide Hotels, said, “Luxe is delighted about this new partnership and we warmly welcome the Puteri Pacific Hotel Johor Bahru to the Luxe Elite Collection. Our regional sales offices worldwide and in particular, our Singapore regional office, is excited about working with the team at Puteri Pacific Hotel Johor Bahru to drive business from the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) segment.”

The hotel is physically linked to the Persada Johor, one of the largest convention and exhibition centres south of Kuala Lumpur. Ms Tee is confident that the Puteri Pacific Hotel will be the accommodation of choice for trade visitors when the Persada Johor, which is ideal for mega events and shows of up to 3,000 guests, opens later in the year.

“The advent of Johor Bahru as the newest convention destination in this part of Southeast Asia makes our association with the Luxe brand even more timely. We are sure Luxe will serve us well through their connectivity to the worldwide corporate and MICE industries. We truly look forward to establishing this synergy in moving the way forward for Puteri Hotels,” said Mr John Roozemond, Managing Director of Puteri Hotels.

The Puteri Pacific Hotel Johor Bahru is located amidst heritage and historical buildings, places of worship, banks and major shopping centres. Nearby attractions include the Abu Bakar Mosque, one of the most beautiful mosques in Malaysia, the Bukit Serene Palace, the current residence of the Sultan of Johor, and the Royal Abu Bakar Museum, also known as The Grand Palace. Major shopping centres such as the City Square and Plaza Kotaraya are just a stone’s throw away.

The hotel’s 500 guestrooms, suites and full serviced apartments offer city and straits views. Dining and entertainment options range from casual to cosmopolitan with all-day dining, Halal Cantonese, local and international cuisines available to suit every palate. The Lobby Lounge provides entertainment by the hotel’s resident pianist.

For business travellers, the Residence Floor and Pacific Floor are designed to ensure that the highest standards for privacy are met. The Pacific Floor also offers personalised service, private check-in and check-out as well as audio, video and facsimile services.

Pacific Floor guests can also enjoy complimentary breakfast, coffee, tea and soft drinks throughout the day plus pre-dinner cocktails at the Pacific Floor Lounge, free laundry services of up to three pieces per day and complimentary shoe shine service and use of the gym.

All rooms are equipped with high speed internet access, complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities and an electronic safe. As an extra precaution for guests’ safety, guest room floors are only accessible through an electronic key card system in the elevators.

The hotel also offers 11 function rooms, including a magnificent ballroom catering for business and social gatherings from eight to 800 guests.
